Natrun Adventure Mountain in Maria Alm
Austria's first forest slide park is the perfect place for adventurers of all ages. Five spectacular stainless steel slides with a length of up to 55 metres promise great sliding fun. The exhilarating fun ride starts right at the Dorfj@t summit station. Once you have reached the bottom, you can take the gondola lift (free with the HochkönigCard) or walk back up to the top via the forest road – who will be the one with most rides?
Alpine Coaster in Saalfelden
345 metres in altitude, 61 curves and three fun jumps – the summer toboggan run at the Biberg is a real treat. The speed control can be used to determine how quickly you want to descend and complete the 1.6-kilometre distance. At the Valley Station, young athletes are then awaited by the Sport Simon Kiddy Park, a circular course that can be accessed with walking or children's bikes. This day-trip can be optimally combined with a hike: adventure playground and pet zoo included. With the HochkönigCard, one ride with the summer toboggan is even free!
Mountain carts in Mühlbach
Wind in my hair, sun in my face and cheeks glowing red. Behind the wheel of the easily manoeuvrable mountain carts young and older racers can compete at equal conditions. The comfortable ascent with the Karbachalmbahn cable cars is followed by a short instruction, before you can spectacularly head down into the valley, across 6.5 kilometres and 700 metres of altitude. The winding track opens dream-like panorama views. 10% discount on the regular price with the HochkönigCard.
Toni's Alpine Playground
A true family experience awaits you at the Karbachalm in Mühlbach am Hochkönig. Numerous activity stations are available, turning a summer's day into a perfect experience. The youngest visitors usually really fancy the water and sand playground, while older children can unwind on the climbing tower, the Slacklines or playing Alm Frisbee. Thanks to the layout of TONI'S ALMSPIELPLATZ, everything is easily accessible with a pram as well.
Destinations for animal lovers
Is there a child who doesn't love animals? We offer our guests a family holiday in the Salzburger Land with the Zoo Salzburg Hellbrunn and its 1,200 animals as well as access to the Wild & Erlebnis Park Fertleiten. While the Salzburg Zoo presents the international world of animals with over 140 species, the Wild & Erlebnis Park Ferleiten focuses on animals from the Alps. In addition to that, you are awaited by no less than 40 adventure possibilities on the 20,000 m2 playground.
Flowtrail Dienten
In addition to the "FLOW ONE" flow trail in Maria Alm, the new nature flow trail "FLOWTRAIL HOCHKÖNIG" in Dienten attracts visitors from all around who can discover a 4.2 km trail through an idyllic forest, overcoming 550 metres in altitude in the process. With its steep curves the nature trail is a great action-packed treat, especially for families with teenagers. Mountain-biking families generally have a great time in the Hochkönig area, as transporting bikes is possible with the 6-seat chair lift Bürglalm (Dienten), the Karbachalm (Mühlbach) cable cars, the 6-seat chairlift Schwarzeckalm, (Maria Alm) and the Dorfj@t Natrun (Maria Alm).
