They enjoy welcoming guests to their hotel in Salzburger Land and let them participate in the slowed-down lifestyle at the Übergossene Alm. In their free time they love nothing more than enjoying nature right at the front door together with their son Moritz and are grateful that Wolfgang Burgschwaiger’s parents, Alois and Anna, once had the pioneering spirit to open a small guesthouse in the picturesque alpine village of Dienten and significantly helped shape the ski-region with their visionary strength.
The history of the Übergossene Alm
More than 50 years of hospitalityt
It’s now more than 50 years ago since the groundbreaking ceremony on Dienten Saddle. From the little guesthouse that opened in the 1964 winter season with 7 rooms and 14 guests on the trail of a legend, to today’s Four-Star-Superior Hotel, much has changed. But the two most important points have remained: the impressive scenery at Hochkönig and the genuine hospitality of the Burgschwaiger family.
